• Natural daylight helps us pick up every pencil line or pen stroke

• Plain paper works best — the more contrast between the ink and the page, the more detail we can capture

• Don't worry about creases, smudges or other writing nearby. These will be removed when we create your design

• Not sure if your photo will work? Send us the version you love most. We'll get in touch if we need an alternative
