Ojewellery designed orchid pendant set with a 0.25ct 5 x 3 natural Arizona USA green peridot as a choker necklace on a 3mm wide grosgrain ribbon with sterling silver bead slider to fasten securely at the desired length.
The design of these encapsulates the elegance through a graceful outline of the orchid set with a central set stone representing the inner petals and orchid colour. The stone is secured by two prongs at the base - the stamen and a hood representing the curved inner petal. The gently sculpted highly polished petals are curved slightly to reflect the sparkle of the natural stone.
The pendant is finished with a commercial grade rhodium plate to preserve the shine. The green ribbon is a generous 29" and left untied. It can be cut shorter or ends knotted to prevent the slider coming off. It fits over the head. When warn the ribbon tails can be left loose or tied into a bow.
Peridot are associated with harmony, peace and compassion. They are the birthstone for August.
