Ojewellery designed sterling silver orchid pendant set with a 0.32ct 6 x 4 natural Mozambique Blue Aquamarine
The phalaenopsis Aphrodite orchid has popularised in recent years as a long living elegant house plant - mine certainly bring a little extra joy and natural life into my world. The design of these encapsulates the elegance through a graceful outline of the orchid set with a central set stone representing the inner petals and orchid colour. The stone is secured by two prongs at the base - the stamen and a hood representing the curved inner petal. The gently sculpted highly polished petals are curved slightly to reflect the sparkle of the natural stone. Both the chain and pendant are finished with a commercial grade rhodium plate to preserve the shine on the jewellery.
