A modern classic with a popculture wink. This pendant begins as recycled sterlingsilver sheet, handcut into a heart and forged into a sleek paperairplane profile. It’s a subtle nod to the paperplane necklace that Taylor Swift helped popularise during her 1989 era. Complete with lyrical references to “two paper airplanes flying,” which turned the motif into a fan symbol of that chapter.
Designer’s note: I created the heartshaped plane as a twist for my daughter. She’d bought a basemetal version; but for something she wears against her skin every day, I wanted it in a known, highquality precious metal, sterling silver.
