The Tree of Life is a symbol of harmony, balance, and connection — to the people we love and to the world around us. This sterling silver brooch sets natural tanzanite gemstones within its branches, the rare violet-blue of the stones shifting with the light and giving the design an extraordinary quality. Rhodium plated to a brilliant shine finish.
Found only near the foothills of Kilimanjaro, tanzanite is one of the rarest gemstones on earth. Its deep violet-blue shifts beautifully in different lights. As the December birthstone, tanzanite jewellery carries a quiet significance that makes this a deeply personal gift for anyone born in December or simply drawn to its violet-blue beauty.
Handmade jewellery, designed in the UK. Secure pin back fastening. Arrives in our signature gift-ready packaging — presentation box, ribbon-handled gift bag, authenticity card with space for a personalised message, and a jewellery cleaning cloth. Free tracked UK delivery. Letterbox-friendly.
Questions
Is the tanzanite in this piece a natural gemstone, and where is it from?
Yes. This is a natural tanzanite, sourced from Tanzania — found only in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Every gemstone in the collection is chosen for its natural colour and character.
How is the tanzanite cut and finished?
The tanzanite is faceted — cut with multiple flat faces set at precise angles to catch and reflect light — then polished to bring out its natural brilliance and colour.
What metal is this piece made from?
This piece is made in sterling silver, finished with rhodium plating for a bright, long-lasting shine.
Where is the natural gemstone collection designed and made?
This is handmade jewellery, using carefully sourced natural gemstones and designed in the UK. Every piece begins with Ojewellery in the UK, developed around the colour, character and proportion of the stone, before being made with a production partner in Thailand. That partnership began when founder Lindsay Hayman — who had been selling generic, other-brand jewellery through online platforms — found herself short of stock after a change in her regular suppliers. The production partner she found had time to help, and encouraged her to start designing collections of her own rather than reselling other people's designs. Ojewellery, and its own natural gemstone collection, grew from that shift.
Can I send this as a gift directly to someone else?
Yes. Every order arrives gift ready — a presentation box, ribbon-handled gift bag, cleaning cloth and an authenticity card with space for a handwritten gift message — with no wrapping needed. Free tracked UK delivery, letterbox-friendly.
How do I look after natural gemstone jewellery?
Keep it dry and store it away from other pieces to avoid scratching, and clean gently with the soft cloth included in your order. Avoid perfume, lotion or direct spray contact with the stone, as this can dull its natural shine over time.
